KANANI IS QUALIFIED TO WORK FOR YOU
Kanani is a licensed attorney in the State of Hawai'i and Washington D.C. From K-6th grade, Kanani attended Maryknoll Grade School. She is a 2003 Kamehameha Schools' graduate.
Kanani holds a B.A. from the University of Southern California in political science with a minor in cinema/television, a Master's degree in education (curriculum and instruction) from Chaminade University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Hawai'i, William S. Richardson School of Law, and a Master of Laws in Environmental Law, Natural Resources Law and Energy Law from Lewis and Clark Law School.
Kanani has worked in the public sector and in private practice. She is also a Lecturer at the University of Hawaii, West O'ahu where she teaches business law.

PRIORITIES
FIGHTING CRIME IN OUR COMMUNITY
We need to provide HPD with the proper resources and infrastructure within West O'ahu to better serve our residents of Kapolei and Makakilo. Fighting against the drug epidemic is necessary as well, along with implementing opioid-related overdose preparedness in our public schools to help save lives.
